Dear friends, This year will be an important year for Christian Information Service. Our main goal is to distribute the pamphlet 2017 – 500 years after Luther! It is only one year before they start to celebrate – not Luther – but the unity between the fallen protestant churches and the Catholic Church. The pope will visit Sweden, October 31, 2016, exactly 499 years after Luther nailed the 95 theses to the church door in Wittenberg. Shall we be silent in this situation? Sweden and Norway has been strong protestant countries, and even in our national hymn we sing that king Sverre spoke against Rome. But the situation has gradually been changed the last 50 years. Nearly all the protestant churches take part in the ecumenical movement, started by the Catholic Church, especially from Vatican Council II (1962-1965), and even the Pentecostal church and the Seventh-day Adventist church take part in this ecumenical movement today. So where are the Protestants today? Are you a Protestant? Then please, help us to distribute the pamphlet 2017-500 years after Luther! So far this pamphlet – by God's grace - is being distributed in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, England, Wales, Scotland, Germany, Portugal, France, Spain, Hungary, Romania, Estonia, Czech, Italy, The Philippines, Kenya, Zambia, Poland, India (the Hindi language), Iceland, Australia, USA. The text for Finland and Russia is soon finished, and then we hope and pray that people will support us, so these pamphlets also can be printed soon! We give all the honor and glory to God for this! We are very thankful for all the people that take part in the distribution, but we are not satisfied with the situation. We need more activity! We need more engagement! We need more people on the street! We need more people that can sponsor this project, so the message can come out to the people before this celebration! Just now 50 000 new pamphlets are on the way to Spain. Many distributors are waiting there for these pamphlets. People in England have sponsored for 50 000 pamphlets and this will be sent to England before we start the campaign there this year in April. In Romania they have distributed 40 000 pamphlets and now they are waiting for at least 50 000 more. They do not have money for this, but they have willing hands and feet and body. By God's grace – we hope all of us are willing do our uttermost to help them. Sweden is calling for more pamphlets, and we plan to go to Sweden and start the distribution in Lund city and the surroundings in Martz 2016. Also in Germany they have distributed about 40 000 pamphlets, but we hope that this is only a beginning, because Germany is an important country when we are dealing with the topic of Reformation! Recently we have come in contact with some people there that perhaps can lift up the work there? In Germany it should be distributed millions of pamphlets in this year 2016. Kenya, Zambia and India is also asking for more pamphlets, but we have to wait and see what we can manage to print! The celebration will be strongest in Europe, so most pamphlets will go to Europe in this connection! May God touch our hearts so we can be willing to sacrifice all in order to give the message for our time to the people. The night will come when no one can work! Now we still have the freedom to share the good news with our fellow men and women in Europe and in all the world! The celebration of Luther, a celebration for unity between the churches, will be the biggest celebration that has been in history! Therefore, we have to use this opportunity to lift the trumpet and give the endtime message to the world, and in this pamphlet we have the endtime message, a message of grace and a message of warning as we find them in Revelation 14 :6-12 and 18: 4.
